Terms of use
Send lets you move files and text between your own devices, and share files with others through links that expire. By using it you agree to these terms.
Using Send
- Only send files you have the right to share.
- Don’t use Send for anything illegal, including material that infringes copyright, malware, or content that exploits or harms others.
- Don’t try to get around the limits, overload the service, or disrupt other people’s transfers.
Share links
- Each person can have up to 10 GB uploaded at a time. Uploads are deleted 1 hour after they finish uploading, and their links stop working at the same time.
- Server capacity is limited for now and will be increased in the future. When the server is full, new uploads have to wait until earlier ones expire.
- Anyone who has a link can download what it contains until it expires. Share links privately.
- Files are encrypted in your browser, so we can’t see what you share. You are responsible for what you upload and who you send links to.
Our role
- We may remove uploads or links, or block access, when we receive a credible report of abuse or need to protect the service.
- Send is provided as is, free of charge, without guarantees of availability. Keep your own copies of anything important.
- Limits and features may change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
Reporting a problem
To report abuse, send us the link in question through the contact page. A link is enough for us to find and remove the upload, even though we can’t read it.
